If you need to upgrade your electric service, please first determine if the facilities to be upgraded are owned by you or Washington Electric.
For upgrades to your facilities, we strongly suggest securing the services of a licensed electrician to perform the work. Please contact our office at least one week before the work is to be done so we can schedule a time to de-energize your service and the upgrade can be completed safely. All facilities must conform to the National Electric Code and any applicable local codes and inspection requirements before they will be reconnected.
If the service upgrade involves Washington Electric facilities, please contact our engineering department at 740.373.2141 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org to begin the process. We will need to obtain some information from you ahead of time, and then schedule a field engineer to meet with you at your location to determine what is required.
