Washington Electric Cooperative has scheduled a power outage
for areas served by the
Sarahsville substation on Monday, April 23. The outage
will begin at 2 p.m. and last approximately two hours.
American Electric Power will interrupt power transmission service
to the substation in order to replace a pole damaged by a vehicle accident that
occurred in mid-March. Washington Electric will also use this time to make
substation repairs and upgrades that will improve future reliability.
An outage is also planned for the South Olive substation in
Noble County on Wednesday, April 25. The outage will begin at 9 a.m. and last
until approximately 11:30 a.m. The outage is necessary for the replacement of a
faulty piece of equipment.
