The Co-op offers safety presentations to youth and adult groups. Each year we present the "be safe around electricity" message to nearly 1,500 people in southeastern Ohio. To learn more or to book the presentation for your group, please call our office.

 

An Energy Bike is a bicycle that is equipped with a generator and attached to an electrical board. By riding the bicycle, the students can generate enough power to energize a series of light bulbs and small appliances, and learn about power generation and how much energy is required to run everyday items.

 

Washington Electric Cooperative makes Energy Bike demonstrations available to students in fifth through 12^th grades. To schedule a demonstration at your school, please contact our Member Services Department.
